Regional Sales Manager - Domestic
Hernon Manufacturing, Inc. is a global leader in adhesive and dispensing technologies. Our products and services are used in various industries such as automotive, electronics, aerospace, and defense. We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and be able to develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue goals. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing channel, building, and maintaining customer relationships, and driving business growth in the region.
In addition to general adhesive and dispensing equipment, Hernon is also known for its specific applications such as ammunition sealant and UV Fog for oil shaft seals. Hernon's ammunition sealant is a fast-curing anaerobic adhesive designed to provide a high level of performance and durability. The company's UV Fog for oil shaft seals is a unique product designed to provide a reliable and effective sealing solution for oil shafts.

This is a field-based sales position with ideal candidates based remotely with travel 30-50% of the time or more depend on location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Identify and grow customer base for the Company focusing on adhesives and dispense equipment and other applications as appropriate.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and seek out and call on industrial plants to identify their needs, to create product demand, and to close the sale.
- Perform territory sales development activities that support the Hernon channel strategy by identifying and developing new and key accounts.
- Establish and maintain favorable work relationships with customers and prospects and develop a good image of, and customer confidence in, the Company as a favored vendor as part of the overall sales strategy.
- Serve as the interface between the customer and Hernon to maximize the new product launch results and sales of new and existing materials and/or equipment products.
- Establish and develop relationships and agreements with customers.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive activities and communicate to sales/marketing management.
- Maintain training/demo equipment account according to corporate requirements.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering marketing technical field, or equivalent.
- Two to Three years of successful related sales experience-adhesives experienced preferred.
- Evidence of mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work successfully without close supervision.
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of end-users.
- Ability to effectively manage channel partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel
- Valid driver’s license
